bb.q Chicken finally makes its way to Santa Clarita! This delicious Korean style fried chicken is located in Newhall at 23121 Lyons Avenue. I was patiently (not so much) waiting for this spot to open since I saw the sign go up. Wings are not usually my go to food choice, but I was very interested to try Korea style wings.

The location itself is small with just about 4 tables inside. You order at the counter and your order is either taken by the staff or they have a tablet ordering system. I have now been to bb.q Chicken a few times and wow is it good. They have a great selection of wings to choose from including boneless style.

Being a fan of spicy I got the Hot Spicy wings (the hottest on the menu) and they are not kidding about them being spicy. Even though they are hot, the flavor is amazing and makes you go back for more. My absolute favorite thing that I have ordered though has to be the Ddeok Bokki. It is rice cakes cut into noodles with fish cakes and delicious sauce.

This past visit I tried the Rose Ddeok-Bokki and it was SO GOOD! The sauce is sweet creamy and slightly sweet but with still a great amount of heat. I highly recommend trying it! I also tried the Cheesling Fries. The fries themselves were great and I loved the flavor and the sauce served on top, but the powdered cheese was not my favorite. I will probably get plain fries next time.

It is definitely worth checking out bb.q Chicken, it is a great little spot with a huge amount of flavor!
