Newhall is an older part of Santa Clarita that is seeing a lot of new growth. Old Town Newhall on Main is a wonderful place to shop and dine. Homes range from smaller condos to multi-million dollar estates. Happy Valley, Placerita Canyon, and Peachland Estates are the nicer areas and offer large lots, many of them equestrian lots.

Newhall is a spread out area so the elementary schools feed in to 2 high schools.

Adjacent to Newhall, in Valencia, you can find exceptional health care at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital. Henry mayo is a 357-bed, not-for-profit community hospital and trauma center. Their outstanding affiliated medical staff is encompassed of physicians whose expertise range across more than 71 specialties and subspecialties. These physicians, along with hospital clinical and support staff, are implementing new information technologies and continually enhancing care to improve outcomes and service for you and your family.

You’ll find more individually owned and operated restaurants and stores in Newhall than any other part of Santa Clarita. Many have been around for years and years and others are new to the scene.
