Such an easy drive through the orange groves from the SCV to this quaint beach town! Enjoy easy parking, fun dining and shopping, dog beaches, parks by the beach, and so much more in just a 50 minute drive!

OJAI, CA

Beautiful valleys, super cool shopping and dining, and home to the famous Ojai Valley Inn- a golf, tennis, and spa resort. It’s a beautiful day trip!

SANTA BARBARA, CA

Gorgeous scenery, beautiful architecture, wine tasting, great shopping and dining all within 90 minutes of the west side of Santa Clarita (Valencia and Stevenson Ranch).

KERN RIVER, CA

White water rafting and lots of camping within a couple hours of Santa Clarita!

FRASIER PARK, CA

You only need to drive about 45 minutes north of Santa Clarita to get to snow in the winter! This area is more of a mountain rural town so it’s a great day trip. Pine Mountain Club is a mountain community with golf, pool, hiking, and restaurants. Home of the Lilac Festival!

VASQUEZ ROCKS, CA

You’ve probably seen these iconic red rocks shooting up in to the sky on so many movies! Just a short drive up the 14, you’ll find hiking trails and just beautiful scenery!

ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA

Home to many aerospace companies, many employees will choose to live in Santa Clarita and commute to the Antelope Valley for their work. During the spring time, the hills come alive with poppies and are a definite tourist attraction! Let me know if you need the directions to the poppy fields!

MOUNTAIN HIGH, CA

Mountain High is Southern California’s closest ski resort, located just over an hour from Santa Clarita . Mountain High is a favorite for skiers and snowboarders from Southern California thanks to its convenient location and big mountain feel. During the summer months Mountain High hosts Music on the Mountain with live performances each month plus movie nights, disc golf competitions, and weekly dinner specials.

MAMMOTH LAKES, CA

Year round outdoor playground! Easy drive yet true mountain recreation- world class skiing/snowboarding, lakes, hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, and more.

DISNEYLAND

We can be at Disneyland in only 1 hour! Go for the day or make it a weekend trip- so much fun! We’ve learned lots of secrets on how to make the most of your Disney trip so be sure to reach out if you are heading that way!

FAVORITE BEACHES WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE:

CARPINTERIA BEACH, CA

This beach is an easy drive up the coast and is known for its mellow waves with docks you can swim to, cute beach town, and easy parking. There are lifeguards and bathrooms. Such a fun beach!

VENTURA BEACH, CA

Probably the closest beach and most convenient to Santa Clarita, Ventura Beach is an easy drive and offers a nice drop in temperature. It’s a great drive through the orange groves so typically there is no traffic and it’s easy to park. The town of Ventura is doing a lot to make shopping and dining there super fun also!
